ETP allowed me to bridge the cultural gap SABINE EHLERS SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY ATTACHÉ EMBASSY OF SWEDEN In what ways would you say ETP has been important for your professional career? They participate in meetings where they have no idea what is being discussed, and they leave the meeting not knowing if there was any conclusion - so the whole experience is baffling.
I have found that ETP really makes the difference: you can step into a discussion and help the people from the home office - you can bridge the gap so that they can really understand the Japanese side and have a true conversation or negotiation. That's when you realise that the ETP experience was something that is really unique and invaluable for doing business in Japan.
