Wanted: foreign aerospace R&D centresDid you know that the Korea Aerospace Research Institute (KARI) is negotiating with European aerospace firms to have them build their R&D centres in Korea.
The Korean government is trying to attract foreign aerospace companies to establish their research and development facilities and plants in Korea to speed development of the country's own aerospace systems and technologies.
KARI officials expect their negotiations to bear fruit by mid-2005. In addition, by 2015, the institute will have invested about 90,5 million euro in space development.
